Additional Testimonials:
I took my boat across the channel 45 miles from MDR to Catalina last week. I met my boss there with his 32' Sea Ray. We stayed 2 days diving for lobster and a little fishing. On the morning we planned to leave, I woke up to 25 knot winds and whitecaps in Avalon harbor. It was getting worse as the morning progressed so we decided we'd better make the run back to MDR. Within 5 minutes of leaving Cat the seas in the channel grew to 8-9' swell and 4-5' chop with an occasional monster. I kept the cruise speed at 28 MPH despite the fact that once in a while the prop would clear the water over larger swells. Everyone with me had a great time although they had never seen the ocean this rough. We were glad to be in an enclosed cockpit, we blasted through wave after wave with water completely covering the boat. My buddies nicknamed the boat Seatank. After about an hour and 45 minutes of this we reached MDR. My boss left a few minutes after us but had more trouble making the crossing. We finally reached him on his cell phone 2 hours later as he was entering MDR. All his cabinets opened up and dumped their contents, the davit supporting his RIB broke loose and he was exhausted from handling the boat. I didn't want to brag about the fact that we'd been home for hours but he knew anyhow.
You guys build an incredible vessel. Everyone I take out is impressed and they always want to be in my boat for the safety and comfort on long rough trips.

I have to express to you how much I enjoy this boat. It sure was expensive but boy does it ride nice and gets a lot of attention! It is nice to see that you did not cut corners in components that people don’t normally see!

Marty and ACB team,
My wife and I couldn't be more impressed with the performance of our 26 Expedition. The ride, fuel efficiency, quality and durability are superior to ANYTHING ELSE out there. Nobody else is offering this level of performance, it's amazing, it runs circles around the premium local manufacturers of trailer boats like Radon, Davis and Skipjack. Coupled with the Volvo D6-310 diesel I'm getting a top speed of 41 mph and 3.5-3.9 mpg anywhere from 23-32 mph based on the Volvo EDC display. I've gone 155 miles without a fill-up on the last two trips and the fuel gauge is still on "F", not bad for a boat with an overall length of 30 feet!
On our first trip out the SB channel was blowing 5-6 foot chop with an occasional 7-8 (I wouldn't have crossed in our last boat) but we reluctantly left the harbor. Halfway across I looked over at my wife in the companion seat who was leaning back with her feet propped on the dash and sipping water, she was completely comfortable, surprising since she has never enjoyed our past boats for their pounding ride and instability. Cruising into a headsea at 27 mph water was crashing over the cabin and the wipers were going full throttle in order to see through the windshield but we felt safe. She now looks forward to getting on the water and we use all our spare time to enjoy it. I'm not sure what makes the boat cut through chop the way it does but this alone has sold us on the unique design of ACB.
Our friends like it too for the comfort it provides. We get lots of attention at the ramp, everyone feels compelled to approach us for a closer look. They comment on it's heavy duty features, flawless welding and attention to detail. People ask me if I do charters or fish commercially, it just has that look and feel.
I'm glad I had the opportunity to spend time with everyone at ACB during the delivery and sea-trial, especially the welders and craftsmen that built it. I wish I could have spent a few more days there but my wife couldn't wait for me to get home with the boat! Everyone I talked to was experienced professional and dedicated to ACBs future. I feel like I'm part of an elite group. The ACB design is revolutionary and after a year of demo rides and plant tours with manufacturers all over the west coast I know I've made the right decision. Actually, the decision was easy, ACB has no competitor.
Thanks.

I recieved the grab bars and antenna connector....Installed all and really like the grab bars and what it does for the companion seat passenger. It is really comfortable to have the arm rest and something to hang on to right under the window. Also the foot rest is a great addition as well. My wife loves them. (I did screw the one onto the lip inside the cabin. Good and strong, much better than bolting through the hull).
We now have 85.6 hours on the boat and lovin' it to death. I have 25 or 28 people showing up this week for a reunion at my house ... The boat will get much use for the next couple weeks. Also, I may have to start hauling water if it doesn't rain this week. Plan to place a four or five hundred gallon tank on deck and fill it in town at the city harbor and pump it off at my place. Dryest June I can remember and not much in site....40% chance of rain later in the week...Pretty slim.
Thanks again for the goodies...much appreciated service.

Dear Marty and the ACB Team,
We are writing to express our sincere thanks for making our experience of purchasing a boat so pleasurable.
From the initial conversation inquiring about ACB Boats to driving our amazing new "machine" off the lot, we found the organization outstanding. The level of professionalism, patience in answering numerous questions, clarity of communication and attention to detail was unlike anything we have ever experienced. Marty and Don exceeded our expectations at keeping in touch with us every step of the way as our 23' Extreme Sports fisherman was being crafted, sending photos and updates on the progress. When the boat was completed, we felt like we had been part of the process all along the way.
We had done a fair amount of research prior to choosing ACB and wanted to find an ocean worthy vessel of the highest quality, comfort and reliability. We found it! Once we put the boat in the Columbia River for its inaugural run, we found the handling, smoothness of the ride and performance to be superior and know that we will feel completely safe in the ocean as well. The installers of our electronics had an intimate look at the construction of the boat over a couple of days. Their statements were, "We've never seen this level of quality before." and "The attention to detail is impeccable." In addition, several people with experience in welding have commented on the consistently superb welds. We certainly have turned more than a few heads with this boat, so we hope you're ready for the business.
Congratulations on the success of your company. It's a rare and wonderful thing to find both a high quality product backed by high quality customer service. We look forward to many years of enjoyment with our ACB Boat.

"The boat is a commercial owner's dream. It will pay for itself in fuel savings as well as maintenance. This boat fishes. The women love the safety and stability of an ACB, they feel safe."
-Dave and Sally Sund of Sund’s Lodge
"I chose a diesel powered 26-foot Extreme Sportfish because I wanted the safest, fastest, most comfortable ride for my passengers. From San Clemente to Santa Rosa, I can be the last to leave the dock and the first to arrive on site then the last to leave and first one home. I cruise at 18 plus knots and make 3.1 - 3.8 mpg. Come and take a trip aboard PREVAILER, and you will become a believer too."
-Matthew Bates
"We purchased a new DVR for our oil response needs. We had heard the ACB’s were great for rough water and designed with safety in mind. We are very concerned about crew safety with our spill response team out on the water. This boat will help our team respond more efficiently and safer in the event of an oil spill."
-Jay Pederson, Area Supervisor, ConocoPhillips, Ferndale Refinery
"We are able to justify the purchase of our ACB in fuel savings alone. The ride allows our drivers and crew to work on days we had to stay ashore before."
-Government researchers operating on the Great Lakes
"Our last ACB was tough as nails and by the looks of it, the new 23’ Sport Fisherman will be even tougher. These boats are fast and seaworthy. We have found that when we leave the dock to go fishing, other boats leaving at the same time are usually left far behind (especially in rough conditions), while we are enjoying a safe, comfortable ride."
-Jack and Glenda Cooper, Northwest fishing couple
"The fuel savings are almost unbelievable. I can afford to go fishing now (instead of wishing) in all the weather conditions."
-Retired fisherman Tom Schaefer
"I wanted a safe boat for my 8-year-old and myself. We night fish the delta in San Francisco Bay for Halibut, Striped Bass, and go out the Golden Gate for Salmon, to the Fallon Islands and beyond for Albacore, and Tuna. My ACB is simply the safest and finest fishing boat I have ever been in."
-Brian Weir
"I have owned and operated the nation’s top evaluated boats in the waters of Mexico, United States, and Canada from Cabo San Lucas to Alaska. These boats include a 26-foot Grady White Sailfish, 23-foot Offshore Chaparral, 29-foot Bayliner Trophy and various sizes of Boston Whalers, Uniflites, and Tollycrafts. Three weeks ago, I took delivery of my ACB 27’ Hard Top powered with twin 200 hp engines. Since that time, my boating life has changed! This boat is not only safe, it rides smooth through rough chop without pounding as conventional fiberglass boats do. Following seas are absolutely no problem and its tracking ability is superb. For the first time, I feel totally comfortable and safe crossing this bay. Even at high speeds, the boat seems to glide on top of the oncoming waves."
-Ray Caldwell, Avid Boater
"I love the ride; it is the biggest, little boat I have ever owned."
-Avid Fisherman Al Stasukevich, California
"We purchased our ACB 20/23 Runabout at the 2002 San Diego Boat show. We had been looking for a safe, offshore fishing boat that had up to 300 mile range. My wife wanted a smooth ride, a place to get out of the sun, and of course a porta potty. We are now working on our third season of fishing and boy did this boat ever exceed our expectations. My wife and our two 30-year-old boys have made many trips - many exceeding 130-mile range to the fishing grounds south of Ensenada, Mexico. Many times, we share napping comfortably in the forward bunk, while underway at night. When the water is rough, as it is most of the summer, just the boys and I go and we have been in 7-foot seas many times catching limits of tuna. Typically, we are out there where boats our size don't dare venture to go. The 140 HP 4-stroke moves the boat along at a comfortable 22-knot cruise with four of us aboard and tops out at 28 knots. It also tows like a dream with my little Dodge Dakota."
-John and Shirley Burton, California
"After riding in traditional fiberglass boats, I decided I could not handle the pounding at age 70. Thirty seconds in three to four-foot chop, sold me on the ACB. The safety, fuel economy, and low maintenance of my ACB are too good to be true."

‘CAT’ Conversion
I was a proud owner of a 25’ 1998 Glacier Bay Catamaran. I “sea trialed” your boat from a checklist to verify several of your customer's lofty claims and to directly compare the ACB to my catamaran. The result of the sea trial was not emotionally founded. I stuck to my list and let the results speak for themselves. After one year of operating the ACB, I can only add more praise and have received nothing but positive comments from my father, Don Hubble, who is the last tugboat captain from a hundred year family tug boating history. I also fish with salmon university instructor, Joe Pecoaro, (www.salmonuniversity.com) who also praises the ACB's stability, ride and fish-ability well above that of the catamaran. The ACB sea trial took place on Bellingham Bay where the catamaran had a chance. The catamaran could not compete with the ACB. My experience fishing off Washington's coast has made the contrast even more dramatic. ACB's stern drift to the sea, made standing up easy and working lines on each side of the boat possible. The cat drifted beam to the sea with a high deck line to allow for the "tunnel". This makes it hard to even stand up, let alone work lines in a current. Trolling the ACB is also more stable than the "cat". When you change direction or stop to bring a fish aboard, the catamaran starts rolling again along the longitudinal axis. The only notable comparison between the two boats was running straight into even spaced chop. The ACB has the cat beat hands down. This boat really does “sell itself”. I also spend less than half the time cleaning my boat, which allows me to focus on family, friends, fishing, etc.
